BEEN AWAY FOR A BIT-Sorry.

Well, I am back. I have been out taking care of the family. I am back, ready for a fresh start. Beginning, Monday, February 15, 2010, I will start a month of reviewing/spouting off about evening AM radio in the Tampa Bay area.
Let's review:
Mornings-
820 AM WWBA, "BIG SHOW," now from 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. EST, ABC News
"Q" style morning "zoo" of sorts. Tired bits, parodies, very little "real" news regarding the Bay area. Less than (5) five local calls per show. Zero debate with callers.

860 AM WGUL, "Morning in America," 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. EST, SRN News
Dry, stereotypical, Reagan era style news. Immensely intellectual, and informative to the point of too much information on a given topic. Strictly focuses upon national/international news. Lots of national callers.

970 AM WFLA "A.M. Tampa Bay," 5 a.m. - 9 a.m. EST, Fox News
Informative to the point of "dry and tired." Pace needs to be sped-up, Local, national, international news. No (zero) calls taken.

1250 AM WHNZ "Wall Street Journal Report," 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. EST, CBS News
Typical WSJ news. Too breif to be of any real, actionable information. Mainly financial news. No calls.
